Section 01 · Walkthrough
Six steps to a link in your client's inbox.
Charlo builds the link, the PIN and the email. You set who it goes to, check it, and press send. Only locked reports are ever shared.
01Open Organisation settings
Start on the organisation's card and open its settings.
- Go to the Project Reporting dashboard and find the organisation's card.
- In the card header, click Organisation settings.
WhereThe button sits in the top right of the organisation card, next to Customer link.

- Under Customer report recipients, add the client's email in Email addresses.
- Use + Add another email for more than one person.

On the organisation card, start a client link.
- Find the organisation card on the Project Reporting dashboard.

- You'll see Customer link created.
SafeWhen the link expires it stops working. Come back any time and click Create new link to issue a fresh one.

Set the expiry, then create the link.
05Copy the link and PIN
Your client needs two things: the link and a 6-digit PIN.
- Under Charlo report link, click Copy to grab the URL.
- Under PIN code, click Copy to grab the PIN.
- Send the PIN on a different channel from the link, so the two never travel together.
WhyYour client enters their email and this PIN to open the reports. Keeping the PIN separate keeps the reports private.
FIG 05
Copy the link and the PIN from their own fields.
06Send it to the client
Let Charlo write the email, then send it from your own inbox.
- Click Copy & open email. Charlo copies a tidy, branded email and opens a new message to your recipients with the subject filled in.
- Paste the body in. Your normal signature stays in place.
- Read it over and send. Prefer to write your own? Use Copy styled email for just the branded body, or copy the link and PIN by hand.
You're the pilotCharlo drafts and assembles the send. Nothing leaves your inbox until you press send.
FIG 06
Copy and open email drops it straight into a new message.
